In collaboration with Yihan Chen, we want to create a face mapping project using Processing (facial tracking OpenCV library) and Isadora.
A micro camera would be hidden inside the plaster portrait(a gender neutral portrait of no one or a portrait of a character in Greek Myths). As long as a user get closer to the portrait and observe, the camera would capture the examined face, then randomly pick a range of pixels of that face and project it on the same part of the portrait. As more and more people stop in front of it, the plaster portrait soon become a combination of the faces of all passers by. You might be able to tell which part of that faec belong to you, while you cannot tell who the plaster is, it is everyone.
